For over 80 years, Lumiscope® has
been developing, manufacturing and marketing quality diagnostic
devices, as well as respiratory and thermometry products for
hospitals, home health care companies, retailers and consumers.
The company's roots
began in the medical device distribution field in the mid-1920s
and concentrated the business in the professional
marketplace. In 1974, identifying the need for home
monitoring, Lumiscope® entered the consumer healthcare
market. In 1978, we introduced to the U.S. market the
first electronic blood pressure monitor for home use.
Lumiscope®
customers include every channel of distribution, including drug
chains, mass merchants, department stores, specialty stores,
eCommerce/Internet retailers, specialty catalogs, TV shopping
and drug wholesalers. Lumiscope's international division
exports to over 30 countries worldwide.
Lumiscope® brings
more to our customers than just quality and innovative
products. We are actively involved with our customers in
developing and implementing powerful marketing programs that
increase sales, heighten consumer knowledge and raise public
awareness in home blood pressure monitoring. We work with
key retailers and distributors in developing private label
programs in both blood pressure and thermometry. Private
